The Project Engineer leads the supervision and coordination of all construction phases, collaborating with health and safety, planning, quality, cost control, clients and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.

- Manage all on‑site work activities in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Prepare work cycles, detailed schedules, and support insurance claim processes.
- Supervise project facilities, site development, and supplier performance, including turbine manufacturers.
- Coordinate technical relations with professionals, subcontractors, and work coordinators.
- Conduct internal meetings on productivity, analyze production rates, and report progress to management.
- Ensure design follow‑up with consulting engineers.
- Prepare estimates, contract documents, and payment claims with trade coordinators.
- Update technical documentation registers and verify permit validity.
- Oversee construction drawings, changes, and finalize monthly and contractual quality reports.
- Conduct site inspections, develop safety programs, and participate in safety meetings and training.
- Lead occupational risk analyses and collaborate with prevention officers to enforce site rules.
- Implement the quality plan, perform internal audits, and approve execution procedures.
- Inspect delivered building materials and ensure proper reporting.
- Verify work compliance, resolve non‑conformities, and monitor corrective actions.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, electrical or construction engineering; membership in a Canadian professional engineering association is a plus, and at least five years of relevant experience, preferably in renewable energy, are required.
Key competencies include bilingual communication (French and English), proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Project, high geographical mobility, a valid driver's licence, strong teamwork, management, negotiation, problem‑solving, initiative, leadership, and the ability to thrive in high‑stress, weather‑exposed construction environments.
