This is your opportunity to work and grow your career with world-class engineers and scientists dedicated to working on geotechnical engineering projects in arctic environments, from conceptual design to construction reporting. The position requires direct involvement with exciting new and existing projects in Canada’s northern territories, Yukon, NWT, and Nunavut. Travel will be required in this position, and candidates must be prepared to undertake short-term field assignments.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- CSA approved Steel Toed Safety Boots required.
- Demonstrated practical hands-on design, construction administration and project management expertise (i.e. related office and field experience) are assets but not required.
- Prior Borehole logging experience for both soils and rock would be considered an asset but is not required.
- Must be willing to travel and work in a field setting away from headquarters.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, ArcGIS, AutoCAD.
- Able to provide quality control and quality assurance on a variety of laboratory and field-testing projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, listening and time management skills.
- Geology, Civil Engineering or Construction Services Diploma from recognized Technical School.
Benefits
The salary range for this position is $69,500 to $79,500 per annum ($33.41 - $38.22 per hour). This is a full-time position based on a standard 40-hour work week.
