- Maintain company objectives to achieve continual improvement
- Spend time as required at company offices throughout the UK and other work-sites as required
- Helping to ensure QHSE processes and standards are effectively implemented across all business activities
- Supporting the delivery of new employee inductions
- Manage and conduct internal and site QHSE audits
- Carry out drug and alcohol tests on colleagues
- Conducting internal & external QHSE audits and developing audit schedules for projects inline with company policy for sensible monitoring schedules.
- Reporting accidents, incidents and safety spots promptly and carrying out low level investigations
- Bring ideas to the table and be ready to compromise, or at other times, fight your corner.
- Report audit findings to the QHSE Manager with the aim of harnessing best practice and eradicating non value processes
- Advise and give guidance to project managers and designers on all QHSE matters.
- Assist in working towards achieving ISO 14001 certification as part of creating an integrated management system
- Maintaining and supporting continual improvement of the ISO 9001, ISO45001 and EN1090 certifications.
- Seek to identify new and improved processes which benefit the deliverables to the company's clients and provide easy-to-use procedures for employees.
- Liaise with the company QHSE Manager, General Managers to provide / implement QHSE awareness and processes.

- Good working knowledge and extensive experience in Microsoft Office software products, such as PowerBi, Teams, Sharepoint, Planner.
- Thorough knowledge of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and requirements in the UK
- Be able to influence different people who may have different external pressures and driving forces.
- Be able to build good working relationships with colleagues at different levels.
- Planning & Organising: The ability to establish appropriate courses of action for self and/or others to accomplish a goal (Be able to self deploy)
- NEBOSH General, construction or other similar qualifications such as IOSH. (Flexible in this matter)
- Clear & concise report writing skills.
- Enforcement and driving of the Company QHSE culture and systems.
- Engineering, mechanical or electrical background
- 3 years of demonstrable experience in a QHSE role at any level.
- Auditing/ inspection skills associated with QHSE
- QHSE Compliance experience associated with National Grid Electric or National Gas or similar high risk, highly regulated environments.
- Experience or competency in training delivery.
- Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and EN1090 standards
- Communication: Able to express facts, ideas or feedback in a clear and concise
- Qualified and/or experienced Auditor in ISO 9001, ISO 4001, ISO 14001
