- Document project progression through correspondence and memos.
- Perform site observations and document construction progress.
- Prepare design and proposal/presentation materials, estimate fees, and determine scope of work.
- Responsible for major design decisions, involving spatial, aesthetic elements, and detailing of materials.
- Actively manage client scopes, budgets, schedules, and programs, project communications and documentation.
- Follow projects through approvals and construction, initiating contact with clients and town officials.
- Review shop drawings, submittals, and respond to RFIs.
- Foster an environment of learning, collaboration, innovation, professional development, and communication.
- Coordinate all project efforts to ensure efficient and cost-effective execution.
- Ensure practice organization, operation, and direction align with strategic plans.
- Represent the firm at professional and trade organizations.
- Take responsibility for finished plans, specifications, approval of materials, and managing all aspects of multiple small to large complex projects.
- Review and advocate for team members’ professional development plans.
- Actively participate in the marketing and business development processes; create and monitor marketing and business development plans.
- Conduct code research and analysis and collaborate with various agencies for approval.
- Collaborate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure project standards are met.

- 10+ years of experience as a Project Architect/Project Manager or Design Architect, specifically focused on Healthcare.
- Experience in writing and editing specifications.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit.
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with clients.
- Thorough knowledge of relevant codes, operations, processes, and trends.
- Firm grasp of building technology fundamentals.
- Experience with Newforma Project Center and/or Newforma Project Analyzer, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, Revit, and PDF Revu.
- Registered as a licensed architect.
- Master's Degree in Architecture.
- Additional certifications such as construction administration, interior design, LEED/Green Globes/sustainability.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
