Senior System Integration and Test Engineer

• Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment.
• Senior Lead Integration and Test Engineer for very complex projects that affect multiple systems, involve several suppliers and teaming partners.
• Documentation of key activities such as test results, quality control and failures.
• Compile data and define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
• Reports progress in meeting program requirements periodically.

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to be part of the Assembly, Integration and Test (AI&T) Team to help design, develop, integrate and test our space vehicle programs. Be part of a fast-paced team, that rapidly and affordably designs, develops and demonstrates cutting edge advancements in thorough and in some areas automated test capabilities. Our Team is seeking motivated self-starter type personnel to take on a multitude of different activities to drive integration and test to the forefront of our development process. You will be required to work within a small and agile team on a broad set of tasks and ensure the highest quality product through all phases of the space element design, build, test and operations. This position may include access to technology and/or data that is subject to U.S. export controls pursuant to ITAR and EAR. To comply with federal export controls, all persons hired must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, refugee or asylee as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(A)(3), or must otherwise be eligible to obtain the required authorization from the U.S. Department of State and/or U.S. Department of Commerce as applicable.

This position is based in Albuquerque, NM, with occasional travel to other company locations, partner facilities or launch sites as needed.

• Experience with standard lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, thermocouples/temp sensors.
• Ability to effectively communicate professionally in writing or verbally with all levels of personnel.
• Experience with qualification and acceptance testing of hardware products
• Experience with test planning, automated test equipment, test procedures and data acquisition.
• Experience with any of the following: Epsilon3, Labview, Matlab, Python, Altium, SolidWorks, AutoCAD.
• Proven ability to create test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field – OR - 8 to 15 years of related experience AI&T engineering or operations, including full program life cycle from proposal to project close out.
• Experience with control of sensitive and confidential information as required by company standards.
• Experience with launch campaign planning, logistics and participation.
• Hold current or have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance at the appropriate level.
• Experience working in cleanroom environments.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software integration problems.
• Environmental testing experience for harsh environments such as vibration, shock, TVAC, EMI/EMC.
