Autodesk is looking for a highly motivated XR and AI development intern to help build immersive design‑review tools for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) sector. The intern will join a multidisciplinary team developing the Workshop XR platform, leveraging AI, extended reality, web technologies, and cloud services.
Candidates must be full‑time master’s students in computer science or a related field with at least one academic term remaining after the internship. Required skills include experience with large language models, strong C++ knowledge (smart pointers and multithreading), XR development with Unity or Unreal, plugin/SDK integration, 3D graphics concepts, web technologies, REST APIs, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS. Self‑motivation and strong communication are essential.
Preferred qualifications include proficiency in TypeScript, Python, and React, as well as experience building VR applications with Unreal Engine. Additional assets are research or development experience in AR/VR, knowledge of computer graphics APIs (OpenGL, WebGL, DirectX), and a background working in Agile or Scrum environments.
