Professional Engineer, Mechanical

Description

• Work on projects that make a real difference in transportation and infrastructure
• Develop plans, studies, and detailed designs for industrial mechanical systems and building systems. Create process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment layouts, and HVAC/plumbing systems
• Partner directly with clients and internal teams to define scope, manage budgets and schedules, and maintain quality standards
• Support construction administration, interpret plans, observe operations, and ensure everything meets specs
• Work on a variety of projects, from fueling facilities, loading/unloading systems, maintenance facilities, tank farms, pump houses, railyard operations, and more

Requirements

• Ability to manage project scope, budgets, and schedules effectively
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with clients and multi-disciplinary teams
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Washington
• Experienced professional with 8+ years of experience designing building or industrial processing mechanical systems.
• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program
• Proven experience designing mechanical system - including piping, HVAC, plumbing, and industrial processes
• Solid understanding of construction documents, specifications, and industry standards
