The Inventory Control Specialist conducts inventory assessments for collection and post‑collection sites, ensuring that site inventories and warranties are current and accurate.
The role requires adherence to Market Area Fleet policy for setting inventory minimums and maximums, identification of overstocked or obsolete items, coordination of stock transfers, processing of warranty claims, and maintenance of organized stockrooms. The position does not include supervisory duties but may involve coaching other employees.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of relevant experience; two to three years of experience is preferred. No specific certifications or licenses are required.
The work environment is primarily an office setting with occasional physical tasks such as keyboarding, handling objects under 30 lb, and limited exposure to cuts, burns or chemicals. Reasonable accommodations are provided as needed.
