Lead Electrical Engineer

Description

• Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and clients to streamline workflow and improve project delivery
• Lead and manage high voltage utility projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget
• Stay current on industry trends and advancements to innovate and enhance engineering practices
• Provide technical guidance to engineering teams, mentoring junior engineers and offering support in complex problem-solving
• Design and analyze electrical systems, ensuring they meet the necessary technical requirements, codes, and client specifications
• Ensure all project deliverables comply with safety and quality standards, conducting regular reviews throughout the project life cycle

Requirements

• Proficient in engineering design software and tools, with strong analytical and technical skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical details to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically related to power delivery projects
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with a Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in project management and team collaboration
• Thorough understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations that apply to power delivery systems
