What you would be doing

- Daily task allocation and oversight of inspection activities.
- Maintaining LTQR’s as required during inspections ensuring all signatures on LTQR and ITP during inspection.
- Ensuring timely completion and accuracy of inspection documentation.
- Supporting team development and training initiatives
- Updating SONIM register as required.
- Monitoring team performance and providing coaching and support.
- Perform inspections in accordance with the ITP (Inspection and Test Plan).
- Ensure work activities are in compliance with ECS Code, drawings, vendor and code requirements with respect to; material, alignment, etc.
- Lead and manage a team of Quality Inspectors, ensuring deliverables are met through:
- Champion Foreign Material Exclusion, preventing ingress or entrapment of non-specified materials, loose items or debris in equipment and /or systems during assembly and testing.
- Assist QC Manager and Area Leads in executing their responsibilities.
- Liaise with client’s representative for conducting of day-to-day inspection during the construction activities.

- Previous experience leading a team of inspectors preferably in construction, engineering or other highly regulated industries.
- Electrical Inspection & Testing 2391 qualification
- Qualifications in Electrical/Electronics/instrumentation, ONC / HNC / HND (or equivalent experience).
- Substantial experience of Quality Control during the installation, inspection and testing of electrical and instrument systems associated with process plant during construction and operation.
