The Community Accountant supports the Community Manager by handling the financial and operational aspects of the community. Responsibilities include accounting and bookkeeping tasks, preparing monthly close‑out and financial reports, processing invoices, collecting rent and fees, completing bank deposits and reconciliations, and using property‑management software to record and report all financial activities.
Physical demands require incumbents to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas. Employees must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 25 lb independently or 50 lb with assistance. Occasionally travel may be needed to assist other properties, attend training, or conduct business.
The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00‑$22.00, with pay determined by business needs, experience, skills, and location. Corporate roles may be eligible for quarterly or annual bonuses, while onsite positions can qualify for weekly, monthly, or quarterly bonus programs.
