Professional Engineer - Roadway

Professional Engineer responsible for roadway design and analysis, project management, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
Prepare studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of transportation projects
Interface with coworkers to achieve shared success
Support project managers with client relations, stakeholder coordination, and sub consultant management
Work under the direction of a Project Manager to lead the roadway design discipline and to coordinate and integrate the other associated design disciplines on projects
Design and analysis freeways, interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural roadways, and shared-use trails
Take ownership of projects from start to finish, with attention to quality, budget and schedule

Proficiency with MS Office applications

Proficiency using Autodesk and/or Bentley civil design software
Solid background in AASHTO roadway geometric design criteria
Solid written and oral communication skills
Drainage design and/or traffic engineering experience is a plus
Knowledge of DOT standards and plan preparation procedures
2-5 years of experience in roadway transportation engineering
