Attend project meetings and support presentations on specific projects/concepts.

Assist technical staff with the following:
When applicable, provide Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) reviews of technical reports or documents prepared by others.
Prepare written documentation including meeting minutes, standard operating procedures, white papers, memos, and technical reports.
Anticipate and identify conflicts/issues in project/task schedules and work with the team to resolve.
Develop an understanding of state and federal environmental regulations.
Support site development design plan review, including constructability, and design coordination.
Support with client, sub-consultant, and in-house staff coordination.
Assist and begin to lead natural resources delineations/assessments (e.g. wetland delineation, forest stand delineation, etc.) efforts
When needed, monitor work of sub-consultants to ensure completion of work on time, including technical review of their work.
Support environmental compliance assessments and implement follow-up corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Make confident and timely decisions.
Support local, state and federal permitting efforts for various infrastructure project types.
Successfully complete projects within allotted time frame and budget.
Support resource assessment, including field work (e.g., plant identification, RTE surveys, geomorphological surveys, water quality data collection, and watershed assessments), data collection, and report development.
Begin to lead project tasks, including document development, field work and agency/client coordination.
Plan, organize, and effectively utilize resources and materials.

The successful candidate must have experience in environmental regulations, and knowledge of State specific requirements/regulations (MD preferred).
Excellent communication skills and technical writing skills are a must.
Plant identification skills are required.
BS/BA degree in Environmental Science (or related field)
Actively participate in professional and/or technical organizations (WPIT or PWS preferred).
Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Knowledge of CADD and/or GIS is preferred but is not required.
Familiarity with NPDES MS4 programs is beneficial but not required.
3 to 7 years of professional experience, preferred.
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
MS degree is appreciated
