High Voltage Safety Manager

The successful candidate will ensure that all safety standards, procedures, and compliance requirements are met, fostering a culture of safety across all operations.

• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and provide detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and hazard assessments.
• Lead and implement all site-specific safety programs for high-voltage electrical construction projects.
• Develop and deliver safety training to employees and subcontractors.
• Monitor field operations to ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and client (DTE Energy) safety regulations.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, supervisors, and client representatives to ensure safety goals are met.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation, permits, and safety records as required.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Safety Manager to oversee health and safety programs for high-voltage construction projects across the Detroit, MI area. This position will be dedicated to work on DTE Energy’s systems and projects.

• Previous experience working with utility owners or on projects for DTE Energy preferred.
• Willingness to work across multiple project sites in the Detroit area.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and electrical safety standards.
• CSP, CHST, or other safety-related certifications a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence safety culture at all levels.
• 5+ years of safety management experience in high-voltage or utility-scale electrical construction.

Compensation: Up to $125,000 base salary + Company Vehicle + Mileage & Gas Provided + Comprehensive Benefits
