Tasks
-Identify and mitigate risks and obstacles that could impact delivery or relationship health. -Drive sustainable revenue growth by proactively identifying and converting new business opportunities within existing global accounts. -Identify opportunities for account expansion, cross-selling, and upselling in collaboration with solution architect teams, product, marketing, and operational teams. -Ensure all client engagements and deliveries comply with local and international regulatory requirements, internal policies, and ethical standards. -Lead cross-functional teams—including sales, marketing, operations, finance, and legal—to achieve program milestones and resolve complex challenges. -Oversee seamless delivery of products and services across multiple markets, ensuring consistent standards of quality, compliance, and client satisfaction. -Ensure necessary regional and local account sales, service & support resources are assigned, engaged in execution of the account plan, actively and with agreed priority -Oversee contractual obligations and manage escalations with discretion and professionalism. -Stay abreast of global industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies relevant to client industries and company offerings. -Resolve any resource misalignment or account priority issues with the appropriate regional or local resource structural manager. -Responsibilities include understanding the assigned account’s business drivers, decision-making processes, and purchasing behaviours to lead the development and delivery of tailored value propositions and precise solution proposals. This includes offering Eaton’s full portfolio—products, systems, software and services—and, where applicable, the comprehensive ONE EATON portfolio, encompassing global UL and IEC products. -Represent the voice of the client internally, advocating for their interests and ensuring a consistently high standard of service. -Provide specific Voice of Customer feedback to appropriate product, system, solution and service business leaders – for future product development, quality, modification, customer satisfaction and other purposes -Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive account strategies tailored to each global client, ensuring alignment with their business goals and company capabilities. -Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-achieving work environment. -Lead quarterly business reviews, executive briefings, and strategic planning sessions. -Negotiate and renew contracts, expanding scope where possible while safeguarding company interests and client satisfaction. -Establish clear performance objectives, provide regular feedback, and identify opportunities for professional growth. -Monitor, analyze, and report on account performance, including financial forecasting, budgeting, and KPIs, ensuring profitability and efficiency. -Lead Customer Quarterly Business Review (QBR)) activities for assigned account. -Share actionable insights with clients and internal stakeholders to inform strategy and innovation. -The Global Account Director for Data Center is an executive role responsible for managing some of Eaton’s most critical multinational clients relationships. This position ensures strategic alignment between customer priorities and Eaton’s roadmap, fostering growth, profitability, and long-term, sustainable partnerships across global markets. Acts as the exclusive Global Account Manager for top-tier accounts, while GAM responsibilities are shared for accounts of lower strategic importance. -Facilitate effective communication between clients and internal teams, translating client needs into actionable business solutions. -Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of account managers and support professionals across different geographies. -Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and key decision-makers, cultivating long-term relationships that foster loyalty and mutual success.

What You Bring
-The role requires swift resolution of high-level escalations and the ability to drive commercial success across multiple regions. -Experience and proven track record of successfully managing complex, high-value accounts across various countries and cultural contexts. -Significant expertise in contract negotiation, strategic account development, and leading cross-functional teams. -Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc. -A minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience within the electrical industry, focusing on account management, sales, or client services, including at least 5 years operating at a regional or global capacity. -Must be able to work across time zones and adapt to diverse business cultures and practices. -Must possess a valid driver's license -Candidates must be willing and able to internationally travel approximately 50–60% of the time for client meetings, business reviews, and team leadership. -Demonstrated expertise in Data Center infrastructure and design, with specific hands-on experience in white space and/or grey space environments. -Prior experience working within the Data Center segment or with relevant target clients. -Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other relevant advanced degree. -Success in this role demands a strong blend of commercial insight, operational excellence, cross-cultural fluency, and inspirational leadership to deliver outstanding client experiences and business results. -Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or a closely related discipline.
