Surveillance Officer - Civil and Light Rail

Description

• Maintain detailed site records, including photographic and written documentation, to verify work completion and quality.
• Provide onsite verification of works, contractors' QA systems, and all other onsite activities for designated projects.
• Offer real-time feedback on construction issues to the project team and stakeholders.
• Become accredited with associations and participate in external committees
• Support Project Engineers, Managers, and Directors to ensure effective project delivery while taking responsibility for day-to-day surveillance of assigned project elements.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience working on Civil Construction projects with light rail experience desirable. Degree in Civil Engineering or related field is desirable but not essential,
• Proven experience in technical surveillance or quality assurance within engineering or construction, with a strong track record of managing and verifying onsite activities.
• Proficiency in reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, Australian Standards, and construction documentation.
• Excellent client and stakeholder relationship management skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a high-performing team.
