Participate in the review of periodic payment requests and change orders.
Observe and document construction progress through the preparation of daily field reports, observing materials testing, tracking installed quantities, and maintaining a photographic record.
Represent the firm in a professional manner at all times in front of contractors, owners, funding agencies, and the public.
Understand and enforce quality requirements in accordance with the contract documents.
Chair progress meetings and prepare minutes.

Five (5) years related field experience is preferred OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with municipal water and wastewater, NETTCP, ACI, AASHTO, VTrans, NHDOT, and/or FAA Standards is preferred, but not required.
Communicate proactively with the project team and manage time effectively.
Regular and predictable attendance with reliable transportation.
Understand and work within the limits of Resident Engineer roles and responsibilities.
Accept feedback in a professionally appropriate and thoughtful manner.
Lead by example via an exemplary work ethic.
Must be able to read and comprehend construction documents (plans and specifications).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is required.
