Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Business Services Administrator and be part of a company that values innovation, collaboration and growth. The Assistant Business Services Administrator is responsible for excellence in business services delivery and ensuring a productive, efficient work environment for our internal and external clients. You implement tasks assigned by the Team Lead or Senior Business Services Administrator and handle day‑to‑day business services including organizational, logistical, and administrative support in office management, human resources and health and safety.
Key duties include onboarding and offboarding employees, reconciling travel and corporate credit card charges, supporting document creation, and applying retention policies. You will organize meetings and events, manage vendor relationships, handle trade‑show inventory, and participate in social committees. Facilities management tasks involve supporting Canadian offices, maintaining common areas, monitoring property issues, and acting as the first point of escalation for emergencies. You will also participate in health and safety committees, manage safety tasks, coordinate training, and serve as the Health and Safety Asset Manager when needed.
The role requires 1‑3 years of administrative experience and a post‑secondary diploma or degree in business administration or commerce is an asset. Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, strong initiative, and advanced Microsoft Office proficiency are essential. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities, build effective relationships, maintain high attention to detail, and work proactively with a sense of urgency.
Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional additional hours based on office demands.
