Plan and deliver your own tree-cutting power outages and oversee those completed by subcontract SAPs.
Manage and monitor budgets relating to the electrical provision.
Support delivery of the wider tree-cutting outage programme across the region.
Champion safety, compliance, and operational excellence at every stage.
In this role, you will be the technical lead for our electrical provision, delivering your own outages while overseeing a small team of subcontract SAPs. You’ll play a key part in ensuring safe, high-quality, and compliant delivery of all power isolation activities up to 11kV.
Lead the electrical provision team, ensuring all outages are completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.
Full UK Driving Licence.
A proactive problem-solver with excellent planning, communication, and decision-making skills.
Strong understanding of Sse (or other DNO) shutdown processes, rules, and regulations.
Senior Authorised Person (SAP) with Field Control under SSe Safety Rules, or SAP status with another DNO (training package available to transition to SSe approval within 3 months).
