The Creative Marketing Intern supports the day‑to‑day execution of corporate creative work, handling foundational, detail‑heavy tasks that keep projects moving forward. The role works closely with the Corporate Creative Manager and the broader creative marketing team.
Key responsibilities include updating templates, maintaining staff bios, assisting with report layouts, organizing digital assets, publishing website content, refreshing office TV displays, and providing light design and administrative support as needed.
Ideal candidates are detail‑oriented, comfortable with repeatable tasks, and have an interest in marketing, design, or creative operations. They should have basic familiarity with websites, content management systems, or design tools, be able to follow standards, ask questions when unclear, and communicate clearly while working independently after training.
Nice‑to‑have experience includes exposure to Adobe Creative Cloud (especially InDesign), proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, or templated document systems, and prior work with digital asset libraries or content platforms, as well as a desire to learn how creative and proposal teams collaborate.
Interns will gain real‑world experience in a corporate marketing environment, exposure to branding, marketing, proposal, and design workflows, and a clear view of how creative work supports business development and client deliverables, along with practical skills for future roles.
This internship is a hybrid/remote role for candidates who live near a Walker office, with an expected commitment of 10‑20 hours per week on a task‑based schedule.
Compensation is $30‑$33 per hour and includes a robust total rewards package featuring an annual discretionary bonus, stock purchase options, medical/dental/vision coverage, company‑paid life insurance, mental‑wellness benefits, HSA contributions, 401(k) matching, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, holidays, bereavement leave, disability and parental leave, community involvement hours, tuition and licensure reimbursement, and professional development opportunities.
