  • Manage the operations process, planning, control, performance improvement, and operations strategy
  • Lead the screening, prioritization and due diligence of potential ownership opportunities with a view to maximizing value

  • Develop the AMO operational plan to support the strategy while developing project teams to ensure delivery on major projects
  • Be the senior relationship manager representing Apex AMO and operational projects with key stakeholders and partners.
  • Maintain strong networks with energy industry representatives and key stakeholders in the area of AMO to promote Apex as an important AMO player in the United States
  • Articulate clearly and document the business case for AMO opportunities, providing a solid understanding of overall risks, benefits and returns, in order to gain support for the execution of these projects
  • Map current digital tool kit and how they fit into workflows
  • Identify business opportunities that will support the AMO strategy

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the renewable energy industry, in senior roles within operational, asset management, business development and/or project development functions

  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Strong commercial background and mindset; ability to conceptualize returns with extensive experience in asset management and operations with a demonstrated record of identifying and originating business opportunities and determine their key value drivers and alignment with Apex’s business objectives
  • Previous experience working in a commercial negotiation environment with excellent commercial management, negotiation and influencing skills
