Monitor Shop Performance: Track KPIs and communicate with leadership on progress, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Maintain Shop Standards: Promote clean, organized workspaces and lead daily toolbox talks to align team on safety and goals.
Lead a Safety-First Culture: Enforce and model a proactive safety mindset; ensure team compliance with all safety policies and resolve concerns promptly.
Ensure On-Time Delivery: Coordinate work orders to meet customer specs and timelines; escalate concerns when necessary.
Perform Additional Duties as Assigned: Support overall shop success through flexible, hands-on technical support.
Mentor and Support Technicians: Provide hands-on coaching, training, and performance feedback to maintain high standards in safety, quality, and workmanship.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with management and shop teams to identify and implement operational enhancements.
Oversee Technical Work: Guide and review diagnostics and repairs to ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to spec.
Optimize Workflow: Prioritize jobs, allocate resources effectively, and adjust staffing to meet production targets.

Strong ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings
Direct experience with Liebherr equipment will be considered a strong asset. experience is required
Dedicated team player, able to work with ease and diplomacy with others
Customer centric and performance driven
High attention to detail and an analytical mindset for managing quality standards and workshop performance
Previous leadership experience as a Lead Hand, Foreman, or similar capacity in a heavy equipment shop environment is a strong asset, particularly with a hands-on, collaborative approach.
Expert knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical components, diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques
Strong communication and motivational skills
Demonstrated leadership/mentor experience is strongly preferred
Experienced with component exchange, repair and warranty related activities
Minimum of 10+ years of relevant Heavy Equipment Technician experienceworking on comparable equipment is required, ideally within a dealership or OEM environment.
