Be responsible for project quality on tasks assigned as defined in the Quality Assurance / Quality Control guidelines.
Lead coordination with public utilities and permitting agencies.
Travel to project sites for preliminary site analysis or construction observation activities.
Collaborate with senior engineers to develop reports, technical memos, plans, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
Prepare technical documents for regulatory compliance.
In this role, the selected applicant will work on large-scale water and wastewater treatment facility and collections systems projects, ranging from studies and rehabilitation to green-field installations.
Prepare quantity take-offs and construction cost estimating.
Perform hydraulic calculations for wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and collection systems using closed-pipe and open-channel hydraulics.
Perform calculations to size water and wastewater treatment structures and equipment properly.
Provide technical support during construction activities.
Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to wastewater discharge limits.
Lead collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to integrate electrical, structural, and architectural designs into pump station and treatment plant design.

Previous intern experience relating to wastewater is highly preferred.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to perform site visits.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
Revit and ArcGIS software experience is a plus.
AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred.
Understanding of concepts of wastewater treatment and collection systems.
2-6 years of experience in the Water Wastewater field or a related area.
EIT certification or the ability to obtain it within six months of starting.
