As a trusted advisor to customers, the Tradesman will perform mechanical HVAC installations, troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems, and respond to basic warranty calls. They will keep Johnson Controls, contractors, and customers informed of job progress, provide recommendations and solutions to improve facility efficiency, and generate quotes that may include upselling opportunities.

Candidates must have 1–2 years of HVAC field experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and familiarity with HVAC equipment. They should demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills, be self‑starters capable of independent work, possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and be willing to join the UA of Plumbers and Pipefitters.
The position pays $16.08 per hour as determined by the collective bargaining agreement, with additional benefits provided through a local labor union.
