  • Maintain productive and collaborative relationships with other Watts employees.
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Sheet Metal Supervisor or Company management.
  • Operate machines under a certified operator.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Stock supplies; at time using a forklift.
  • Assist experienced sheet metal workers.

  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to follow oral and written instructions properly.
  • Learn basic factory environment and basic on machines.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 25 pounds.
  • Punctuality and dependability.
  • Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.
  • 1 year manufacturing facility experience referred.
  • Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
  • Adherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and standards of process as implemented by Watts.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
  • Must be able to read tape measurements and do basic math.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities and stressful conditions.
  • Ability to learn how to operate machines needed to complete tasks.
  • Drive forklift.
  • On-the-job training on ERP system (Epicor).
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
