Residential Construction Laborer / Driver

Overview

Assist construction teams by driving, transporting materials, and maintaining clean, safe job sites.

Tasks

-Inspect tools, equipment, and vehicles regularly and report any issues -Support carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades as needed -Handle daily cleanup, debris removal, and site breakdown -Keep job sites clean, organized, and hazard-free -Follow OSHA safety standards and ensure proper use of PPE -Load and unload materials efficiently and maintain vehicle cleanliness and organization -Run errands and pick up materials as directed -Provide general support to supervisors and teammates as needed -Maintain organization and cleanliness of the Tectonic shop -Safely operate company vehicles to transport tools, materials, and equipment -Drive and maneuver large dually pickup trucks and dump trailers -Perform regular vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs -Assist with site setup, demolition, dust protection, and final punch list tasks

What You Bring

-Strong awareness of safe working practices and adherence to safety protocols -Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team -Ability to follow directions while thinking critically and independently -Dependable, proactive, and organized work ethic -Previous experience in construction, carpentry, or remodeling (preferred) -Familiarity with construction tools, materials, and basic site operations (preferred) -Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
