Produce data reports using in-house software and/or specialized queries
Actively communicate and coordinate with project managers, laboratories, and/or other team members to acquire data packages of varying formats to be imported to a centralized database system
Manage and organize laboratory, field, spatial and geological data to ensure quality and consistency
Work on a wide variety of environmental projects at a time, on sites located locally, across North America, and internationally
Assist in developing standards and procedures for data management process improvements
Liaise and coordinate with internal and external clients to provide data management solutions
Maintain and query data using EQuIS, MS Access and MS SQL Server

B.A. or B.Sc. in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Chemistry, Geography or related field, or a certificate/diploma in Database Management, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Geography, or related field.
Passion for working with data and have had exposure to environmental analytical data
Must have a good driving record and valid driver’s license.
Strong problem-solving skills
Familiarity in using and understanding Federal/Provincial/Municipal/State regulatory guidelines
Excellent verbal communication with peers, project managers and clients
Familiarity with EarthSoft EQuIS and/or MS Access and/or SQL Server, with a strong understanding of database relationships
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities, with ability to self-manage priorities, deadlines and budgets
2+ years of related data management experience in the environmental or analytical chemistry sector
Capable of working both independently and in a team environment
Exceptional attention to detail
Dedication to meet project deadlines in a timely manner
