- Handling enquiries, managing project and financial trackers and reporting.
- Taking a proactive approach, including researching, and drafting responses as needed.
- Providing technical information, carrying out straightforward design and analysis, and preparing quantities and dimensions for projects using the Schedule of Rates and Method of Measurement.
- Using internal invoicing systems to process invoices and track payments for the teams.
- Aiding with feasibility and scheme studies (traffic & transportation) under guidance to ensure proposed schemes and programmes meet Planning and Transport goals.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Conducting site visits as needed to gather information critical to successful project design.
- With supervision, compiling construction documentation and related reports, such as safety audits and quality standards, in line with departmental policies and procedures.

- Operating specialist systems, particularly as an experienced user of AutoCAD, to support project owners and designers in delivering projects.
- Proficiency in IT applications, including MS Office. Basic knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD or similar design software.
- Experience in highways or structural design and basic project management or project administration skills.
- An understanding of highway engineering principles, including design techniques, standards, and procedures with the ability to apply this knowledge to small-scale projects or a limited number of moderately complex projects.
- The role requires a full UK driving licence as occasional site visits will be necessary.
