Description

The HVAC Teardown (I) position at the Lennox AES facility in Wheeling, WV focuses on the safe and efficient recovery and reclamation of parts from HVAC systems. The role supports environmental sustainability by handling, recycling, and disposing of components in compliance with regulations.

• Follow established procedures to ensure thorough HVAC part recovery.
• Handle and sort reclaimed materials throughout the process.
• Identify and address equipment issues during recovery.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
• Cross‑train and assist in other areas as workload demands.
• Use hand and power tools, including metal‑cutting saws.
• Maintain attention to detail and produce high‑quality work.

Requirements

Candidates should have previous manufacturing or construction experience, a high school diploma (or equivalent), and a basic understanding of safety protocols. Knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigerants is preferred but not required.

• Stand for extended periods and work in dusty/oily conditions.
• Lift and move moderate to heavy objects.
