Enter data from source documents such as Inspection Requests (IRs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Material Approval Requests (MARs), Welding Inspection Reports (WIRs), and Test Reports into ERP, DMS, or Excel-based logs.
Track document transmittals, maintain logs of submissions, approvals, and returns from the client or consultant.
Maintain and update records for welding data including weld maps, welder logs, WPS/PQR references, and NDT reports in accordance with project ITPs.
The QA/QC Document Control & Data Entry Coordinator is responsible for accurate and timely entry, management, and maintenance of quality assurance and control documentation in accordance with project requirements. The role supports the QA/QC team in tracking, reporting, and organizing project documentation to ensure compliance with Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), project procedures, and client standards.
Scan, organize, and upload QA/QC documents into DMS or project folders with proper naming conventions and version control.
Support the QA/QC team in updating punch list statuses, equipment preservation logs, and calibration records.
Assist in the preparation of quality dossiers (FICDs), weekly reports, and dashboard summaries for management and client review.
Perform routine backups and generate periodic summaries/reports as required by QA/QC or Construction management.
High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Management preferred).
3–5 years of relevant experience in data entry, document control, or QA/QC support within construction or oil & gas projects.
Familiarity with project DMS systems such as SharePoint.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to organize and maintain structured electronic and physical document filing systems.
Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation) and Word.
Knowledge of QA/QC documentation requirements in construction or oil & gas projects.
High accuracy and speed in typing and data entry.
