Description

The role, under direct supervision, assists equipment operators at a transfer station by maintaining a neat and safe work environment for employees and customers, and by enhancing the site’s appearance for surrounding properties.

• Direct traffic at the work site.
• Perform random load checks following safety policies.
• Conduct daily preventive maintenance on the water truck.
• Haul water for dust control.
• Maintain site landscaping.
• Report safety hazards or vehicle malfunctions.
• Monitor site activity and report unusual occurrences.
• Follow proper lifting and grasping procedures.
• Interact with customers and the public in a friendly, service‑oriented manner.
• Attend weekly/monthly safety and operations meetings.
• Participate in work‑related training sessions.

Requirements

No prior experience is required, and the position involves work both inside garages or shops and outdoors in inclement weather, heat, and humidity. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
