Overview
  • Born in Australia, Martinus grew from a regional rail specialist into a global railway infrastructure powerhouse in under two decades.
  • Its vertically-integrated model spans feasibility, engineering, construction, operations and maintenance across continents.
  • Distinctive in-house fleets—locomotives, ballast wagons, welding units—boost efficiency and control in every project.
  • Martinus has delivered major works like Sydney Metro Southwest, Inland Rail (Albury-Parkes), City Rail Link and US acquisitions.
  • Expertise covers civil works (bridges, earthworks, drainage), track systems, signalling, overhead wiring and power.
  • International reach includes Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Chile and beyond through acquisitions and alliances.
  • A reputation for turnkey delivery under varied contract models—Alliance, Design-&-Construct, early-involvement schemes—sets it apart.
  • Unusual for its size, Martinus self-owns and operates heavy plant, reducing reliance on subcontractors and boosting project control.
