The Onsite Account Manager will serve as the primary contact for assigned global accounts, driving revenue growth in line with SGS’s key account initiatives. The role involves developing account strategies, coordinating actions across SGS affiliates, and ensuring contractual and service obligations are met.
- Develop and execute global account strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Act as the primary client contact, coordinating job orders, inquiries and technical exchanges across SGS affiliates.
- Network with account decision‑makers to maximize existing revenue potential.
- Conduct regular client meetings for business development, performance reviews and issue resolution.
- Monitor communications, reports and invoices to ensure compliance with account requirements.
- Manage global agreements, contracts and claim processes.
- Plan and coordinate account activities to meet timelines, KPIs and financial targets.
- Ensure correct communication of technical and commercial procedures to execution sites.
- Track customer satisfaction and address service delivery issues promptly.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the account and across SGS business lines.
- Collaborate with international teams to share best practices and promote a cooperative environment.
- Chase outstanding invoices and monitor days sales outstanding (DSO).

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree—ideally in analytical sciences, engineering, or a business‑related field—and bring at least five years of account‑management experience, including two years within the softlines industry and exposure to multicultural environments.
The position requires occasional standing, frequent movement, constant sitting and use of hands, and the ability to lift up to 30 lb, with all duties performed in accordance with SGS health‑safety policies and its Code of Integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in analytical sciences, engineering or business‑related field (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of account management or customer service experience with a proven track record.
- At least 2 years of experience in the softlines industry.
- Experience working in international, multicultural settings.
- Strong project‑management skills in a fast‑paced environment.
