What you would be doing

Serve as managing project engineer/coordinator across multiple projects.
Develop a complete understanding of contract plans and specifications.
Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
Support and manage the project team, including direct reports and cross-functional personnel.
Prepare monthly cost projections using data from project management systems.
Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
Inspect field conditions to identify problems, inaccuracies, and potential cost-saving measures.
Take corrective actions as needed to resolve field issues.
Develop quarterly cash flow projections to support financial planning.
Promote and enforce company environmental health and safety programs at the project level.
Develop and maintain the project master schedule using appropriate techniques and scheduling software.
Recommend improvements to project operations including staffing, methods, and procedures.
Review new issue drawings for changes in conditions; quantify impacts and communicate with supervisor.
Collaborate with project management personnel to gather input and ensure schedule accuracy.
Manage document control processes including logging and tracking new issue drawings and contract documents.
Provide supervision and on-the-job training for junior engineers and project staff.
Distribute updated documents to field teams and ensure proper implementation.
Foster a safety-oriented culture across all project activities.
Review subordinates’ work for compliance with contract documents; address deficiencies and implement corrective measures.

8+ years of Field Engineering, or project engineering/management experience in construction and engineering roles. Proven experience managing engineers and project teams.

Regular, reliable attendance
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or equivalent years of experience.
Working knowledge of project controls terminology and scheduling practices.
Ability to read, analyze, and identify discrepancies in engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook.
Demonstrated integrity and ethical decision-making.
