Shipping Coordinator I - 2nd Shift

Description

• Creates, distributes, confirms receipt, and file on record export papers.
• Directs communication with third-party warehouse including notification of pickups and confirmation of receipts.
• Maintains accurate and detailed records of shipments to Rheem satellite plants and distribution centers.
• Records and logs, audits for accuracy, distributes, release after pickup, and file Finished Goods Bill of Lading.
• Contributing Respectfully - Sharing opinions, valuing ideas, sharing opposing perspectives with respect
• Creates bills of lading for direct shipments for other Division locations as needed.
• Creates, audits for accuracy, and distributes MSO (Miscellaneous Shipping Order) for all materials functions including Finished Goods and Raw Materials.
• Notifies carriers of freight pickups as necessary.

Requirements

• Able to prioritize and deal with numerous interruptions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Thinking Creatively – Applying creativity, seeking improvements, understanding from the customers’ lens
• Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and Finished Goods Management System.
• Demonstrates ability to work well with others in a matrix team environment.
• 2 years of experience in a distribution, warehouse, manufacturing or similar environment.
• Intermediate Excel
• Knowledge of a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of Material handling systems and/or transportation.
• Listening to Understand – Open mind, learning from others, accepting feedback, embracing the objective
