Renovation Foreman - Healthcare Facilities

Description

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and facility representatives to ensure smooth project execution.
• Oversee subcontractor coordination, ensuring all tasks align with project plans.
• Lead and manage small field teams, coordinating tasks and delegating responsibilities.
• Document and communicate any changes to project scope or timeline.
• Supervise day-to-day operations at healthcare construction sites, ensuring safe and efficient workflows.
• Report work status, challenges, and project milestones to project managers.
• Foster open communication with team members to address on-site challenges and maintain team morale.
• Interpret and execute construction tasks based on blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols are met.
• Conduct routine site inspections, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate daily job logs, safety records, and material inventory.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings to maintain a safety-first culture.
• Serve as the on-site point of contact, providing progress updates to management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must live within 1 hour of Gastonia, NC.
• Proficient in reading construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, tools, and materials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for client interactions and team coordination.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to use project management software for documentation and reporting.
• Willingness to travel extensively during the week (Monday–Friday).
• Travel and Stability: Enjoy steady work while traveling to high-profile healthcare sites.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman in healthcare remodeling or commercial construction.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various conditions.
• Familiarity with medical imaging projects or healthcare facility renovations is a plus.
