The Executive Portfolio Leader in the Projects Coordination Office (PCO) serves as a cross‑business execution leader for tendering and delivering large enterprise projects that span multiple GE Vernova business units. These projects, valued between $4 B and $10 B, are expected to generate billions in contribution margin, and the leader is accountable for all associated GEV financial metrics, including revenue recognition and cash collection.
The role establishes PCO processes and governance for data‑center projects during early customer engagement (Pre‑ITO), commercial structuring and bidding (ITO), and execution (OTR). It also enables pull‑through of equipment and services across GE Vernova businesses when appropriate, ensuring seamless transition from proposal to delivery.
Providing matrix leadership, the Portfolio Leader directs a global projects team across Power, Electrification, and Wind segments in partnership with Consulting Services and Finance Services. This ensures that tendering and contract execution align with corporate goals and that integrated power‑plant proposals are delivered on time, within scope, schedule, and budget.
The leader drives a cultural transformation toward a customer‑obsessed mindset by championing integrated “beacon” projects and innovating system solutions for the rapidly expanding datacenter market. Acting as the Voice of the Customer, they represent GEV before enterprise customers throughout the project lifecycle, resolve significant issues, and manage the critical path for customer success.
Key responsibilities include defining, planning, and coordinating enterprise‑level tendering and execution; identifying and mitigating resource challenges; providing strategic direction; and ensuring risk management and compliance with EHS standards. The leader also orchestrates commercial structures such as equipment contracts, SPVs, and consortia, leads framework and MSA discussions, and partners with supply‑chain and engineering functions to address major customer issues early.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent power‑plant experience) and bring at least 15 years of complex power‑plant project structuring and execution across technologies such as wind, nuclear, and gas turbines. Desired credentials include a Master’s or MBA, proven project‑management leadership, strong interpersonal and influencing skills, and a track record of success in multicultural, cross‑functional teams.
The position offers a salary range of $170 k–$350 k USD, discretionary annual bonus, variable incentive compensation, equity, and comprehensive benefits—including medical, dental, vision, 24/7 health‑coach access, a 401(k) with company matching, tuition and adoption assistance, paid parental leave, and generous paid time‑off.
