The Assistant Underwriter will collaborate closely with underwriting specialists and other departments to deliver seamless service for large accounts, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in team meetings to improve processes. They will also engage with agencies, stay informed on industry trends, and provide expert guidance on systems and workflows.
We are expanding our team with an Assistant Underwriter – Large Accounts who will support Large Account Underwriting Specialists in underwriting and managing complex commercial accounts across multiple lines of business. The role involves risk evaluation, policy structuring, and underwriting analysis to ensure profitable growth while maintaining strong agency relationships. This hybrid position is based in our Raleigh office at least two days per week, with three days of remote flexibility.
