The role is located at our North Charleston, South Carolina facility. The incumbent will be responsible for establishing work offsets such as G54 and G55, both manually and by using probing technology. This position supports the manufacturing process by ensuring precise setup of CNC equipment.
Candidates must have at least two years of experience operating CNC lathes or mills in a manufacturing or operations setting, or an equivalent educational background, and at least one year of experience setting up these machines. A technical degree in manufacturing, machining, or a related field is preferred. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and must qualify as a U.S. person under ITAR regulations.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, sketches, and applying GD&T principles is required, as is the ability to perform basic shop mathematics. The role also involves operating various manual machines including lathes, mills, jig borers, and grinders.
