Description

The Services Buyer plays a critical role in driving project success by managing sourcing and procurement for services projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery of equipment and services while building strong supplier relationships. Services, field services and equipment are to be procured by the GSI (Grid Solutions Integration) NAM Procurement team to support its Services business. The Lead Buyer will manage the sourcing and procurement process for a given number of services projects. She/He will be responsible to negotiate and issue service and equipment purchase orders at the right time and right quality within the specified targets/budget. The Lead Buyer is responsible for the RFQ/RFP process, supplier negotiations of price and terms, completion of supplier approval/supplier qualification process, identification and development of supplier panel, purchase order placement, expediting/following up of deliveries, invoice resolution. She/He is responsible to settle claims with conditions favorable for GSI. This role will support bid/proposal development in ITO as well by providing pricing and lead time as required. The Lead Buyer will also be responsible for applying sourcing policy interfacing between supplier and business with respect to order to remittance.

• Manage RFQs, negotiate pricing, lead time, and terms of purchase
• Leads the regional commercial supplier on-boarding (manage supplier master data) and collaborates with Supplier Quality for product/process qualification
• Update ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) regarding dates and contractual modifications
• Balance tactical execution with strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost/lead time reduction
• Collaborer avec les équipes internes.

• Create and manage Purchase Orders through delivery to customer including expediting
• Superviser l’intégration commerciale des fournisseurs (gestion des données maîtres) et collaborer avec la Qualité Fournisseur pour la qualification des produits/processus.
• Leads supplier performance reviews
• Invoice management and resolution of holds
• Advise Project Managers on RFQ/PO status
• Gérer des relations solides avec les fournisseurs, y compris les enjeux commerciaux et les changements d’échéancier.
• Informer les chefs de projet sur l’état des RFQ et des bons de commande.
• Diriger les évaluations de performance des fournisseurs.

Requirements

• Diplôme universitaire (baccalauréat) d’un établissement reconnu.
• Équilibrer l’exécution tactique avec les initiatives stratégiques visant à réduire les coûts et délais.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule that includes night and weekends as required as overtime
• Capacité à travailler selon un horaire flexible incluant soirs et fins de semaine, au besoin.
• Créer et gérer les bons de commande jusqu’à la livraison au client, y compris le suivi.
• Gérer les demandes de prix (RFQ), négocier les prix, délais et conditions d’achat.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement, sourcing, or similar field. Previous experience in Services is desired.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
• Gérer les factures et résoudre les blocages.
• Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience en approvisionnement, sourcing ou domaine similaire. Une expérience dans les services est souhaitée.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestic 20% of the time as required
