Electrical/PV Installation Knowledge: Working knowledge of current NEC codes. Ability to interpret single-line drawings and PV systems from roof to meter.
Ability to safely handle power tools and materials such as: ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, and other similar electrical equipment, lumber, roofing materials, etc.
Understands interconnection activities. Understands basic construction principles
Demonstrates knowledge of electrical principles as it pertains to solar interconnection/tie-in and code and how PV systems operate.
High school diploma or equivalent, or Technical/trade school training in solar or electrical systems is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to move around for prolonged periods. standing, kneeling, bending, Squat and climbing ladders (Daily)
OSHA Preferred
Adheres to company safety policies and procedures including ability to identify and report safety hazards, and the ability to encourage others to work safely

Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements (A valid Driver’s License and clean MVR are required to drive company vehicles.)
1 year of residential solar experience
Ability to withstand heights, be on roofs, and climb ladders (Daily)
Ability to work in 0-100+ degree weather, as well as in wet and dry conditions
Ability to work within the safe range of equipment such as ladders, fall protection harnesses and other personal protective equipment
