The IT Desktop and Network Engineer will provide comprehensive IT support, manage network infrastructure, and ensure smooth operation of IT systems. The role involves working on tickets and tasks assigned in JIRA Service Desk, administering Nutanix/VMware virtualization services, and supporting various on‑prem Dell server models.
- Configure and maintain desktops and laptops using Microsoft Intune and Active Directory.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot network switches and routers for high availability.
- Administer VMware and Nutanix environments, including ESXi hosts, virtual machines, network virtualization, and VSAN.
- Deploy and manage on‑prem Dell PowerEdge servers.
- Install and maintain Windows and Linux (CentOS, RHEL, Ubuntu) operating systems on virtual and physical infrastructure.
- Manage Windows Active Directory domain controllers and user accounts.
- Use Apple Business Manager and Microsoft Autopilot to provision laptops.
- Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, and LDAP authentication services.
- Configure and support Windows print servers and resolve printer/scanner issues.
- Administer boardroom and video‑conferencing systems.
- Manage email services and applications within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Provision and manage AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation) and TLS certificates via ACM.
- Support Elastic Load Balancers and monitor cloud resources using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Config.
- Oversee containerized applications using ECS, EKS, or Docker on EC2.
- Support hybrid cloud integrations with on‑prem infrastructure.
- Travel quarterly to remote sites to provide hands‑on IT support.

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field and possess extensive experience in IT systems and network support. Required skills include strong knowledge of switches, routers, firewalls, virtualization, Dell server management, and Windows/Linux operating systems, along with excellent troubleshooting and the ability to work independently. Preferred skills are experience with JIRA Service Desk, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
Benefits
The position offers a base salary range of $57,000 to $90,000, with eligibility for bonus, equity, and benefits, and the final compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, education, location, and market conditions.
