Create detailed CAD/BIM drawings for bridges and related structures using MicroStation.

Tasks

-Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and sketches for conventional concrete and steel bridges, retaining walls, and miscellaneous structures using computer-aided design software, primarily MicroStation. -Develop details for complex concrete and steel bridges which may include: prestressed concrete, post-tensioned concrete, steel plate girder, segmental, and cable-stayed.

What You Bring

-Experience interpreting as-built plans for existing structures. -Technically oriented with the rudimentary thought process to visualize constructs in 3-dimensional space. -Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure -Demonstrate ability to work independently with direction from supervisor and engineers. -Associate or technical school degree, or equivalent experience. -Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits are essential -Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools -A working knowledge of Microstation and AutoCAD. -Attention to detail is highly desirable. -Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to gather, organize, and interpret data. -Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with project team members. -Experience in structural drafting with MicroStation
