This consultant‑side role is responsible for managing contract administration, change control, cost forecasting, and commercial risk mitigation across the assigned package. The Commercial Manager will work closely with the client, contractors, and internal teams to ensure commercial transparency, compliance with the contract, and alignment with programme objectives.
The position covers a broad range of duties including contract administration, change and claims management, cost control, procurement coordination, risk monitoring, and stakeholder engagement. It requires maintaining a robust change management log, preparing cost reports and cash‑flow forecasts, and supporting procurement strategies. The role also involves serving as the commercial point of contact and participating in meetings, reviews, and audits.
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Engineering or a related field, with a Master’s preferred. A minimum of 15 years’ experience in commercial management of large‑scale infrastructure projects is required, including at least five years in rail or transport. Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, UAE construction law, and proficiency with cost‑management tools are essential.
