Production Coordinator

Description

• Supervise and mentor technicians, fostering office growth.
• Schedule staff coverage to meet operational standards.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager on performance reviews for technicians.
• Provide technical support to customers, sales, and production teams.
• Interact daily with customers on scheduled jobs and emergencies.
• Track and manage department test equipment, vehicles, and inventory.
• Coordinate projects with customers, sales, and operations to ensure efficiency, scope adherence, and timely delivery.
• Manage the emergency on‑call list.
• Ensure technicians comply with company, customer policies and federal/state regulations, including drug and alcohol testing.

Requirements

Shermco is hiring an experienced Production Coordinator to work from its Irving Wildwood office. The role combines leadership, scheduling, and technical support to ensure smooth operations across technicians, customers, sales, and production teams.

Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or GED, with an associate degree in Electrical Power or comparable military training preferred, and five or more years of power‑systems testing and maintenance experience. Desired credentials include NETA III certification, supervisory experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce. Strong communication, organization, and safety awareness are essential.

The position requires passing drug, alcohol, and background screenings, a fit‑for‑duty physical, and the ability to lift 75 lb, crawl, climb, and stand. A valid driver’s license with a clean record and flexibility for overnight travel, overtime, and occasional weekends or holidays are also needed.
