The Project Director will lead a large marine project (over USD 300 million) or multiple smaller marine projects, overseeing all departments to ensure safe, quality‑focused delivery within budget and schedule. The role carries full P&L responsibility and manages health‑safety‑environmental assurance, quality control, technical execution, plant fleet, and contractual relations with employers, authorities and third parties, while coordinating with clients, consultants and other stakeholders.
- Supervise and coordinate project activities to meet client, policy, contractual, time, and cost requirements.
- Coach and mentor project managers and other team members.
- Establish organizational structure and processes for support teams in line with company policies.
- Resolve process issues and motivate staff effectively.
- Coordinate trades and departments across the project(s).
- Validate technical, financial, and schedule‑related contractual options.
- Review legal matters with the Six Construct legal department.
- Manage contractual and financial follow‑up, including budget control.
- Approve all project engagements and oversee supply and sub‑contract agreements, conducting pre‑contract quality and performance audits.
- Lead social and public‑relations activities to promote the company.
- Negotiate with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors throughout the project life‑cycle and support tender and contract handling.
- Implement project budgets, allocate resources, enforce standards, conduct technical reviews, and manage the project team.

- Proven experience managing people and teams, with strong consensus‑building and listening skills.
- Advanced understanding of contract management.
- Strong organizer with deep process‑management expertise.
- Extensive knowledge of marine construction, both technical and practical.
- Ability to quickly assess issues, devise alternatives, and apply pragmatic solutions.
- Excellent internal and external communication abilities.
- High‑level negotiation skills in complex environments.
- Commercial acumen.
- Fluency in English; additional European language (French or Dutch) is a plus.
- Willingness to relocate as business needs require.
