  • With the regional rope design managers update and manage the rope design quality documents.
  • Undertake defined development projects (associated with rope design, analysis and property prediction)
  • Record work in formal written reports
  • Support the regional rope design managers with design approvals and – where appropriate – holiday cover (full training on rope design will be given)
  • Develop the skills and understanding to become one of the business’s rope design experts

  • Excellent communication skills and will regularly liaise with internal stakeholders across the group.
  • Present work and share best practice within BBRG
  • Experience and knowledge in computer programming (eg. C#, VBA, Matlab, PL/SQL)

  • Qualification Required: Masters/Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • The candidate should show strong developing expertise in basic management skill-sets especially planning, organizing and executing work.
  • Working effectively alone and within teams.
