The Information Manager will lead the delivery of a compliant and efficient information management consultancy service, ensuring that client teams meet statutory obligations and best practice standards. This role protects the client’s reputation by overseeing how information is managed across projects.
Key duties include developing and maintaining information management policies, standards and guidance, managing the information management team, allocating resources, and assessing risks. The manager will also contribute to governance strategies, oversee the records lifecycle, promote best practices through training and communications, and produce reports for senior governance bodies.
Candidates must have at least three years of information management experience, a relevant qualification or practitioner‑level certification (GKIM, ISO19650), and strong knowledge of legislation such as the Data Protection Act, FOIA and the Public Records Act. Proficiency with EDMS/CDE platforms—particularly Aconex—and the ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead cultural change, and communicate effectively are essential.
