Support and supervise construction inspection activities, analyze all technical aspects of highway, local roadway, water main and sewer installation, and utilities reconstruction, reviewing and recommending construction changes to the Resident Engineer,
Maintain daily records using the client's document management system.
Keep up to date running totals of quantities, and red-line As-built drawings for all the disciplines
Perform tests required to ensure material compliance with contract documents.
Write daily inspection reports, inspect construction materials and activities, verify quantities of work completed and authorize for payment
Support the RE on both internal and customer reporting on project performance; financial/budgets reporting; staffing forecasts, and schedule reviews.
Review traffic protection procedures
Attend meetings, responsible for the preparation and distribution of project correspondence/records, performance reporting, administration and scheduling, documentation of project meetings and reporting, and tasks assigned by the Resident Engineer (RE)
Responsible for enforcing safety and quality requirements, help with processing payments, negotiating claims and change orders, supervising inspectors, and will represent construction progress in project meetings.
Responsible for the maintenance and distribution of project records in accordance with contract requirements.
Will serve as a resident engineer's technical representative for the management and inspection of contractor construction activities.
Support the RE and Inspectors on the review and validation of contractor quantities, certified payrolls, payments/invoices, monthly schedule progress reporting, change orders, contractor Requests for Information (RFI), shop drawings, and .
