Electrical Design Engineer - HV Systems

Design HV cable systems, create proposals, support contracts, and liaise with teams.

Tasks

-Develop technical details and cost-effective cable system design proposals for customer enquiries and provide engineering support during contract execution. -Provide technical support, training and services to internal functions and Customers. -Drive product Approvals for UK Customers. -Liaise with other Prysmian Affiliate Design teams as necessary to support the UK and participation in Prysmian Group Design coordination meetings and activities. -Ensure the maintenance of records of contracts for future reference.

What You Bring

-Previous experience of HV systems design and involvement in complex, large scale projects is desirable. -Methodical thinker -Possess sound written and oral communication skills. -Preferably hold experience of Mathcad, however training can be given -Educated up to degree level or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
